Xiaomi patents dual sides screen with wraparound displays

Xioami patent has been recently published by the WIPO (World Intellectual Property Office) for two new Xiaomi dual sides display smartphones. The families over at LetsGoDigital have established mockup renders of the patents outlined in the patent submission.

There are two devices in the world, both dual sided screen smartphones that wrap-around in varied paths. The first one is a wrap-around screen akin to the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha  phone. The main discrepancy with that one is that the Mi Mix Alpha wraps around both vertical perimeters while the document shows only one side that wrap around. The layout approximates that of the Huawei Mate X when it is folded close.

The next device has a show that wraps through in a several way. Model “B” captions a screen that fastens up and over the top horizontally edge of the handset. Its ago side has a hole-punch cut-out for a dual-camera setup. Its worth noting that both devices don’t have dedicated front-facing cameras – the main camera doubles as the selfie camera since the device is mostly screen.
